I lost my job just yesterday. EOL n ng ADOBE..
I lost one of my cellphones Ericcson T650i just this morning in the hotel where we stayed. Ninakaw sa room.. hays.. bkit ko kc iniwan.. Imagine, I just found out in a matter of less than an hour..
Still no job...

I couldn't help myself to cry when I got home this morning.. sa sobrang inis ko at lungkot.. Pero nakakangiti pa naman. ='/

Cheer up Ellen!!! siguro meron malaking blessing/s na darating sakin.

Signing off for Adobe Apac

Chin cupping, I ponder!

Time is fast like a wink, like an inhale of breath
I never noticed what is happening that I am still fast walking
Every morning of daydreaming, my eyes are well smiling

I have a blue sky above and fresh scent of green grass
Here in paradise, I will stop a while.

The Five Love Languages of Children

According to the authors, each child expresses and receives love through one of five different communication styles. A parent's love language may be totally different from that of his or her child, which causes hurt feelings and misunderstandings. With the help of this book, adults can discover their child's primary language and learn what they can do to effectively convey unconditional feelings of respect, affection, and commitment that will resonate in their child's emotions and behavior.

http://www.amazon.com/Five-Love-Languages-Children/dp/1881273652#

January 30, 2009 when I dropped by in Powerbooks, Megamall and while browsing for some good books, this book simply captured my attention. I was taking my Assessment subject then so when I flipped over the pages I knew that this book will be one of my serendipitous purchases, just like when my friend Marv told me to choose one book and he’ll pay for it, I immediately walked through the halls of shelves in National Bookstore, Ermita until I saw the Multiple Intelligences of Dr. Howard Gardner and just by reading the title I knew that was the book of my choice then. Definitely not my genre that time but I want something very informative so I told myself why not? The book I possessed five years ago just paid off now because it became one of the core foundations in me as a future educator.

Now, another one great book to recommend for everyone; The Five Love Languages of Children, I just loved this book so much… believe me if you are a parent, you need to read this one. Love is the manifestation of God’s grace to us, unmerited favor, communicated in the life of Christ and written in the Holy Bible. The purpose of this book is for us to better understand the child and the love language/s he mostly used to convey to us teachers, parents, guardian and anyone who is looking after a child. What is love language anyway? It is usually what the child answers when he is asked, “Does your parent love you? How?” as illustrated in this book.

These are the five love languages of children:

Physical Touch

Words of Affirmation

Gift

Quality Time

Acts of Service

Every child has a primary love language to communicate his affection to his parents, siblings, or even the people who surrounds him. It is very essential to every parent to know that language so the child’s emotional tank will be filled from time to time. The 5 love languages may be present at a particular time and stages of growth of children but there will be a primary love language that will outstand the rest.

I love this book so much because I have came to know my primary love language. Mine is “Words of Affirmation” that is why I hate people who are inevitably liars and I get devastated to some broken promises.

Loving our children isn't always enough. Learning to speak their love language communicates your love in ways they'll understand right from the start.

Unconditional love is something all children can understand. And The Five Love Languages of Children can help you make your child feel secure, loved and more willing and open to interact with you and your family.

SIBOL Progressive School of Manila

I am putting up my own school as part of the requirements in my Management class of my Preschool Specialization course. Hays.. nauuta ang utak ko kakaisip so I really need a silent moment or rather environment pag nag iisip ako ng matindi. I want to be alone at times para ma put into words ko yung gusto kong iparating though sometimes it helps naman na meron akong naririnig na iba sa ibang tao kaya binablog ko to ngayon. I believe we all need constructive criticism para lalo tayong mag improve. I usually sleep early as 6 or 7pm, grabe an aga para gising ako ng 12MN or 1 AM para gawa ako sa baba namin, super tahimik na, yung hangin lang ng electricfan yung naririnig ko at yung tunog ng keyboard ko kc type ako ng type. wahaha.. di naman ako matatakutin kahit mag isa at meron mga kaluskos minsan. Che! Hmp silang lahat at need ko mag isip no. hihihi.

Yung mga ka officemates ko tuwang tuwa sila pag Friday na kc walang pasok pag weekends, ako ayoko ng Friday kc yun yung pinaka cramming day ko kc Saturday na kinabukasan. Three’s

I got three wishes

I wish to disappear for one day.

I wish to be a child again.

I wish to stop the time.

I got three questions

What….?

How come…?

Why…?

I got three cheers

Yes, Yes. I can…

You have it  innately…

I love you!

I got three whispers

Shhhhss…be patient

Relax, rest and read

You are blessed, remember that!

I got three sighs…

Sheeshh… Argghhh..

Highhhh…

Tsk tsk tsk…

Three realizations…

It’s hard to lose weight

When you are near thirty’s

The more you get used to it

The better you understand it

I hate to be smoked then…

I still hate it now and will never get used to it….

EOL

End of Life… rumors about it did not surprise me because it is possible to any account especially when the North America CS has been pulled out late last year. However, we heard assurances from our boss’s that we are pretty secured here in APAC. The fact that we are meeting our stats, and even exceeded it most of the time… I did not bother to have the thoughts to linger on. I just have confidence that we are doing good so continue to be a buzzing bee from Monday thru Friday.

Well, just last week, we were all surprised when the boss’s had a meeting and the leakage of information spread out so fast to us. Yeah, it is now confirmed that the client will transfer to TP. The rumors, thoughts, speculations have finally brought us to the FACT that we all have to face and accept. Despite of our golden tickets we earned from our CSAT’s campaign, the service level that have been worked out everyday, the transactions per hour we accomplished, the AHT that never became a problem. Those do not matter in any way now, it all boiled down to one cause, RECESSION.

15 days before my birthday is our last day here in Adobe APAC. What a great gift to me celebrating my 30th years of existence. I want to stay until that day because I have came to love this account for more than a year now. I had my own world here in my corner.. . Gosh I will surely miss a lot of things in this account. So much of it to enumerate but I still want to list it down:

-          my own desktop and pedestal

-          morning breakfast in my station

-          signed in to winlive messenger the whole shift

-          the morning showbiz buzz from Billie or Ampee

-          loud and harsh words of Yenz

-          Yenz and Billie’s endless arguments

-          Billie’s loud singing voice (not so good to listen to… peace)

-          Ampee’s dabog syndrome

-          Tina’s hopia treat and Binondo trip

-          Margie’s barging in and lively greeting

-          Our fish events… I’m gonna miss this so much

-          rumors and issues within and outside our corners

-          the “ate” tag line

-          strict guards… I hate one of them… =#

-          crocs eating galore pasyal especially when payday

-          Ampee’s panic stricken syndrome for urgent cases

-          Billie’s PACSALES tag line

-          Ministop and 7/11 and the Outback bangsilog and etc

-          FOC’sssss

-          Gelo’s F for Flower and I’m so sorry tagline

-          Danna’s fashion trends

-          Adobe Media and CIB (ay meron pa kong di nasosoli)

-          Serial Number requests and escalations

-          Call Master’s Aux (siyet… di pwede over break saying HB)

-          Tissue mania (kuha na ng marami)

-          Garet’s peanut bar (pabili ulit!)

-          Chinese tikoy…

-          Kat’s avon, dakki, (dakilang rekerista)

-          At walang kasawa sawang tsismisan at maraming iba.. superb!

Shall I make a plan now? Well, I really don’t know yet… As much as I wanted to stay after the last day and transfer to another account… the thought of it really hassles me. For sure, my MA will be compromised if I proceeded with that… which I really don’t want to happen. Arggh…. Shall I be teacher this SY 2010-2011? That sounds good enough! I know soon I’ll pursue that career but I hope that I am all geared up before I start though I already finished my 18 units by that time. It would not provide me much in terms of remuneration but I can manage to survive for the meantime until I am able to put up my own school… (whoa… dream big, this is going to happen.. )

My annual tours… Oh… most probably this will be postponed or cancelled… Huhuhu.. I’ll still find ways then.

For now… I’ll take one day at a time and appreciate everything around this floor even the ones or the things unpleasant sometimes…

Light up Ellen

I feel like saying sorry for my site… I have become so lethargic…for the past year… been busy in school most of the time. The passion has wilted and I’m having hard time to light it up again, though I am taking time to revive myself …

My fingers were tied and eyes have been shot.

Thoughts have wandered in some valley of dreams

And who would have thought that this would be my path?

In the eyes of the children I find real joy.

Indescribable

I remember it was last year, sometime in June when I first heard this song in a worship service. I was deeply moved and struck by heart. Truly, God is alive and He makes all things beautiful around us.  Everything is  a proof of His majestic creation and who would not grasp that His power is limitless because He is the source of everything. From then on, this song made a mark in my heart  and every line of it speaks to me. I will worship the living GOD for in any words He in indeed Indescribable.

INDESCRIBABLE
by Chris Tomlin

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation's revealing Your majesty

From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring

Every creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

Incomparable, unchangeable

You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

You are amazing God

You are amazing God

He is  still the same, yesterday today and forever, His love is unconditional and never ending.

MAUS

Saul Friedländer, "Trauma, Transference and Working-Through," History and Memory 4 (1992): 39-55.

Copyright (c) 1995 by Robert S. Leventhal, all rights reserved. This text may be shared in accordance with the fair use-provisions of the U.S. Copyright Law. Redistribution and republication of this text on other terms, in any medium, requires the written permission of the author.

Maus encompasses many small narratives: not merely the story of Vladek (Artie's Father) and Anje (Artie's Mother, who committed suicide after surviving Auschwitz and coming to America), but of Artie himself in his struggle to understand his family origins and himself. It addresses the constant resurfacing of a traumatic and "unmastered" past on a number of levels: the death of his brother, Richieu, of a poison given to him by the woman who was taking care of him as they were about to be sent to Auschwitz to be gassed, the suicide of his mother in 1968, and the murder of the European Jews. This is perhaps nowhere more evident than at the end of Volume I "My Father Bleeds History," where Artie asks Vladek for Antje's diaries. Vladek first tells Artie that the Diaries are gone, and then finally remembers that he himself had destroyed them -- burned them to be exact -- in the depths of depression. Vladek not only burned the diaries -- in a ironic enactment of Nazi Book-Burning -- but he sadistically adds salt to the wound when he tells Artie: "I looked in, but I don't remember [...] Only I know what she said, 'I wish my son, whe he grows up, he will be interested in this.'" Artie, who himself suffered a depression after his mother's suicide, calls Vladek a "murderer," unable himself to understand Vladek's action as itself an act of acting out the legacy of the Holocaust. In this transmission circuit, Artie is tied to his father, and we see this played out in Maus in his complete dependence on Vladek for the narrative of his own story.

The "broken" relationship between Artie, Vladek, and this unmastered past is exemplified in the broken relationship Artie has to his own Jewish heritage. In Maus I, Vladek is in a German work-camp and has a dream in which his dead Grandfather comes to him and tells him that he will leave this place and go home to his wife and child on Parshas Truma. Artie then asks his father what Parshas is, unaware of the symbolic and literal meaning of this in his life and in Jewish tradition. His father then explains to him the meaning of Parshas Truma, the specific week in which a particular section of the Torah is read. It turns out that this was the week he had married Anja, and the week Artie had his Bar-Mitzvah. In this time frame, Vladek actually does get to leave the camp and see his wife and child. The broken circuit is thus restored in the text precisely because of Artie's interest in the narrative and the construction of the text Maus itself. But the evidence of a failure in the transmission of culture and tradition, the traces of this broken connection to the past and to history is present to the extent that Artie must now relearn this complex history.

Maus is allegorical, not merely to the extent that it treats the individuals as figures in a much more complex and global story, but insofar as its very textual structure is comparable to the allegorical structure of the emblem, with a graphic image elucidating the text, as well as a superscript expressing the "topic" or "theme," the actual statements of the individuals in the frame, and often a subscript containing unconscious thoughts or afterthoughts. In Maus, the image is never left to stand alone, but is always caught up in the differential between narrative, image, dialogue and reflection. In this manner, an opening or aperture for critical thinking on the transmission of past trauma is created.

This is my first graphic novel possessed, given by my dearest friend. Thanks Marv! The first book I have read this 2007.  First, I thought that this book is just an ordinary novel with drawings and all, and would not move me at all though I like stories back from World War I and II. I admire Art Spiegelman how he had managed to have his Dad story told everything. Everything is imaginable in his description details in this book. Certainly, I was indeed moved in the events of so much sorrows and pain Vladek and Anje suffered. Fear was enormous and suffering is uncontainable, I couldn't imagine myself in that kind of situation. Maus or mouse, mice  they were, living is always at stake, surviving is their saving grace.

This one is worth reading and its part II is worth buying so I will.

Another Trip

I'll be on that the same boat in a few weeks in time. I can't wait to be in Cagayan De Oro. Three to four hours of paddling, rafting will surely make your body shake and and tire you at the maximun level. Let's see our tolerance on this exciting adventure! I'm really excited and hopefully, some manong or kuya can take a picture of us while traversing the river.

What if I fall out from the boat, this is not like banana boat! yikes, I hope not to slap on some boulder and be injured. I want to enjoy the entire rafting. I'll make a blog of this once in a life chance adventure. Promise! I may not be able to come back there so I'll make the most of it just like any trip I had before

  Camiguin Island, Philippines

The island-province of Camiguin is a pear-shaped volcanic island in the northern tip of Mindanao. It is approximately 90 kilometers north of the City of Cagayan de Oro. It is bounded to the north by Bohol Sea, to the west by Macajalar Bay, to the southeast by Gingoog Bay and to the east by Butuan Bay.
Wow! Philippines talaga! sarap mag beach... Dyan kmi pupunta! Yes!

Sure, an hour or hours  of trecking before we get into this falls. Be amaze while bathing in the cold water.  Sarap nito!

Idle hours? keep thinking and dreaming! I'll be there soon!

Thoughts Running

I'm not actually feeling well today because of my cough and cold yet I'd rather come to office than to stay at home and rest. I preferred to spend my nine hours in work, not that I am such a devout with my job, arrgghh.. hardworking? not really, perhaps Yes.

While listening to one of my favorite broadway musicals, I got  thoughts running through my mind, I got mixed emotions. With my cold hands typing words, finishing every ticket I'm answering, my mind is flying freely in clouds of realizations, memories and future plans. I feel thankful and blessed for everthing that has happened to me. Every bad memories were now in the dumpster and I know for sure that I would not pick it up again.

More than 2 hours before my shift ends, I'm done with  my tickets, the same with everyone else's. Thus, I am pushed to do something I missed to do for the past weeks, to write my thoughts. I prefer to do this thing than to watch videos and browse sites. I am glad that I am on my world again and this is me.

Well, I was thinking of him the whole day up until now, how I am being loved so much by my dear. I am the hard- headed one and I always rule most of the time but I lost my resistance by his kindness and patience to me. I got tantrums but never did he make me blame for something not good that has happened, I cried sometimes because I see my fault yet he still smile and let me peep on the brighter side of the situation. I really got an angel through him. I feel so much thankful. Indeed, I am inlove with the person I never thought I would, the exact opposite of me, where interests are totally different, points and opinions clash, yet we truly complement with one another. We don't do long talks over the phone, as we prefer to always talk in person and we can spend a night story-telling with some laughs and reminiscing moments... I honestly miss my dear everyday.

I was reminded just exactly the same month last year, I thought I was in the right path of love which ended before the next coming month and now it's the same month again yet I am assured this time I am with my true love one, I finally decided to love the person who deserve my love, which I should have done long before.

To my Angel dear, thank you for loving me unconditionally and for your long patience, I don't know where you getting it.  You know how much I love you.

- Days - still my favorite day is Tuesday? a relief after monday but it is not my restday.  Im on a non- hazard pay? =(

Pagod na o meron ng iba?

I remember just last year, parang gantong month din. We are all busy, making blogs here in spaces.

Forever dog lover , hahhaha.. My honeypie, sweetiepie.. mwah mwah.. come to mama... hahaha..

In A Wink of Magic Moment

In a wink of magic moment
Everything has gone clear
I see my eyes are opened
My heart is no longer fastened

In a glimpse of rainy days
Suddenly, I realized his presence
I see my madness turned into gladness
His long wait is now over

Many times, how could I ignored him so
Why did I make demean of him before
Yet, it stood as a defying gravity
To prove his love with all sincerity
Alas!, at long last, I got the last card
I heard a different beat in my heart

In a second of every minute
I found myself in a blessed fate
Our hands firmly fits to hold
His love has never been cold

Never did I imagine myself with him
Thank God I did not close my door
Yes, I've eaten all my words
The prize of lifting his cross

In a letter of thousand words
I spoke for an honest fall
I will make him known to all
The man, who made me whole

In a moment of true love
Pact was created to behold
Our lives are fastened, no one will back off
In this journey, our paths were meant to cross

This is my moment of love, I will lock in my heart.
For the man who has won my untamed heart. To my Angel dear, even death will not let us part.

The Heat Is On

Another great adventure of unravelling the beauty of three provinces of my native land.  I did enjoy these trips especially while we were in Bohol. I hope to explore more places next summer with the same Dabarkads.

YeaH, we just arrived in Bohol! obvious ba?

Amazing waterfalls! the water is so cold!

this is our chance to be with our friends, hahahha...

Fridays.... instead of cheese \m/  feel the breeze zzzzz...

  peace forever!

The hanging bridge, yeah! I wouldn't let the chance pass me by.

I'll probably come back in Panglao Island resort.. wonderful!

swimming inside the cave in Panglao. freezing water.. grrr....

Enjoying our time in Panglao Island, swimming, snorkling, and daydreaming...

Now, in Cebu, the famous Magellan's Cross..

At Mactan.. si Lapu lapu shempre, makakalimutan ba naman natin.

Well, I really had a great time in Bohol and Cebu. I enjoyed every moment of my vacation. Travel is my passion with or without someone special with  me. hahaha... I cherished every minute of morning, afternoon, night and dawn for 4 nights and 5 days, I will never forget this trip.

Witnessing the beautiful places and culture of my native land is giving me pride to be a proud Filipino.

After Bohol-Cebu trip, here I am with Mike and new barkada in Puerto Galera. YeaH! ako'y isang lakwatsera!

We're all set! Banana boat time! Kaya natin to! Uy! bulgy bellies. hahhaha... beltbags or salbabida. hahaha.

1 down and we're up again! Yes! this  is great! kso ang alat talaga ng tubig!

Wow! si Inday at Boy, mukang Off ah! hahaha. nice nice view at the back!

Fave picture ko to, shadowy ako and see the boats sa likod namin, si Mike antok na!

No! they're not serious, they're just tired kakabuhat samin sa batuhan. hahhah. joke!

My second time in Puerto Galera and of course this time I'm with my boyfriend and his barkada. Me, Mike, Poppee, James, Eugene, Robbie, Allan and Jackie spent an overnight in White Beach, Puerto Galera. A night and a day full of laughs and stories; photos and long walks; meals and bills; sunset and sands, boats and folks; and beach under blue sky.

March 2007! The Heat Is On!

Leaving to live

Yes,  leave so WE can live!
WE NEED TO LEAVE FROM THE KILLING FIELDS!
SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST IS NOT THE RIGHT PHRASE!
LET US ALL RUN THE GOOD RACE...

ArGGGHHHHhhhh..

I'm dead!! Tsk. tsk..
Sheeshh..
I'm doomed!
For nearly two years and 6 months... I am on the verge of being trashed out!
I'll see them on the eye of goobye?
Will I finally chance their game to beat me?
Or I'll have my grandest exit on a perfect time with a sneer in my eyes?
I still have 7 days from this moment on..

Arghhhhh....

Excerpts from 2006 Diary

January - Holding A Star - I Still Believe

The year had just begun and I am holding a star in my hand. Celebrating new year in the office, duty called for the second year in Sykes which I had no choice but to comply. Great plans for this year, excited for my Palawan trip and more team building to come.

February- Gathering Pieces - Heart of Mine

Spaces has opened its world to me and now I am gathering my pieces to have it posted on this online blog thing. Beginner's enthusiasm kicked in. Started posting my poems which have been asleep for years in my hard bound notebooks.

March -  Building a Rome - Temperamental

First time to board on plane, above 30,000 feet from the earth surface, the clouds are cumullus. Yes, a major trip for this year. A truly nature tripping event in my life, I got to hold a baby crocodile, play with thousands of butterflies, meet Bagsik who is exactly opposite of his name,  a labrador from one of the ranches in Palawan during city tour, swam with the fish in the sea, pose a picture with alligators, fed the hungry monkeys in the trees. Island hopping and seafood tripping were the most wanted part. Makes me want to come back in Palawan? definitely Yes!

April - The Deception - Collide

All the while I thought it was all true, so secured and confident that a shelter is solid and immovable but everything I thought was all a lie, where the accomplice has allowed herself to become the victim. It's a shame that I tried to blind myself with the lessons I've learned from this remorse but no matter how I control it, the more it tills deeper to me that I was betrayed by this situation. The chief liars came into my life and I played the grandest part, April's fool. Foolish I was, insensitive and blind. I hope not to wear that veil of tears again.

May - The Secret Bearer  - Drawn Out

Everyhing was revealed now in a snap of a finger. I don't want to remember my sobs because it still breaks my heart and it hurts like hell when I see myself in a  condition I never imagined would happen to me. My true friends witnessed my madness and how I surmounted this misery. I got every pieces of puzzle into places and voila there on my face I saw the clear picture I would never forget. The hallucination stopped yet there were ripples that go on and on. The Secret Bearer of all.

June - Stories In My Eyes - My Own Prison

Which reminds me of being a prison behind my eyes, who shall I blame for my shame? Well, I  have totally awaken from the worst nightmare I've ever had. I need books to read and films to watch.. . Never will I curse but I will always  remember that once I became a casualty of love. Yikes.. Nevertheless, I am out of the dumpsters.. I enjoy my new found friends and will continue the person I was before. Also, thanks for my best chums, who laughed and listened to me  when I was on a very weird trance. I love you all!

July - Redeeming Grace - Lead Me Lord

God's grace is sufficient enough. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. He redeemed me from disgrace. Now, passion for reading novels has been rekindled today. I am ony my way to my 12th book. Yes, I made it. More tomes to come, let my eyes read and my imagination travel to the ends of the earth. Let my heart beat fast as I continue to walk and run the miles.

August - Terrific Friends - Seasons Of Love

My daughters multiplied so fast, I mean my cell members who are so dear to me. They gave me the best gift ever on my 2*th birthday, a compilation of my pictures.. hahaha.. how in the heaven did you get all of those. Thanks to all of you but mostly to Angel who had made a big part in making that video clip. On the other side, "Terrific three" were built, Billie, Janet and me. We we were talking about the days of our lives about the guys that came along in our lives which did not turn so well. =(

September - The Knocking Down - Better Than Me

They have helped me to see myself better and reminded me of the things I forgot to appreciate. I am more thankful now, time has honed me and visions has kept me alive.  I am more thankful though among the fantastic 4, I was the one last standing on the same church. I know that we maybe separated every sundays, we will always see each other serving our King. I am grateful and will always be. Tthe friendship we have built will always have a mark in my heart, from the highs and lows, I enjoyed every single moment with you. I will miss our dance and our practices.

October -The Criminal and the Fairies -

A new found friend has introduced to me Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl. Yeah, I was totally back in reading. The previous plan is to finish reading a book in a month. Woah! why would I set that limit if I can read Eleven Minutes of Paulo Coelho in just one sitting. I have been mesmered by the fairies. I am extending my grattitude to my new buddy in books and broadway musicals, to my best influence who gave me three unwrapped books; and to my generous friend and angel to be for the willingness to sponsor first but provided me the Opal Deception. Merci beaucoup to the three of you!

November -  No One Knows The Wicked - For Good

If I have been mesmered by the fairies last month and I am moved and touched by the Wicked. The next best musical goes to "Wicked." All through out the day and month,  I can hear every song is in rhyme, every line just let me float in lip-singing.

December  - Tamed Heart- Sweet Surrender

"I could write you a thousand love songs, search the world for the perfect tune and rhyme", Let them say what they want to say, let it echoed through my head but I will now stand with you, as long as you are there my Angel dear, everything will be worthwhile because finally I realized that you are my love, who was never in disguise. Though I may not outgive your love to me, I know for sure, real as the sun and sky, I am for you. We both deserve each other my Angel. I love you.

"My attitude to you is Grattitude"

My eyes are smiling, that can’t be ignored. I’m out of a dumpster I heard from a song and I laughed too much. Yeah!  I was, of course, long  enough..

She’s listening to the beat now and words are coming out from the lips she closed for a long while. The music is starting to play and it’s getting loud and loud. She’s got a happy feet, not the tipsy kind in a club. Oh! Yeah, her music is still broadway and she’s emoting like Julia and even Robbie of  “The Wedding Singer” and Glinda of the “Wicked.”  She can spend the whole day sitting, chin cupping while listening to those broadway musicals.  How she wished to possess a gift like of Ariel and dance with Mumble.

And just for this moment, I hanged on these music and like my mom’s friend said, “my attitude to you is gratitude.”

"For Good" is my favorite in the "Wicked"
"All about the green" in the "The Wedding Singer"
The last month of this year will be much better than the last year. I bet!
 Amigo! Merci beacoup!

"Like a comet pulled from orbit
 As it passes a sun

Who can say if I've been changed for the better?

 But because I knew you
I have been changed for good"  I loved these lines...

bye bye

I began to reminisce my childhood moments… when a kid neighbor of ours was shouting bye bye at the top of his lungs to an   airplane, looking up in the blue sky,  jumping and waving. He really made me smile =)  I did that too.

I asked some of my colleagues if they also did that when they were kids then. 90 % said Yes. Hahahaha. So weird and  funny why do parents made their kids do that  but I’m  more than glad that I got to experience that, seeing an airplane in the sky and thinking my Papa is always there inside and would hear my byebye. It’s odd, but when the time I got a child, I’ll let him to do the same thing.

Bye bye bye bye airplane..

My Kids

My kids, as in nieces and my inaanak. Sometimes, I was thinking sana meron na rin akong anak like my high school friends pero. hahhaha pano mangyayari yon, papa anak.. shessh..

Last Thursday I was invited to be one of the judges for the SAYAWITAN of Life Giver Christian Learning Academy wherein pupils who volunteered to show their talents to sing and dance will be performing on stage.  Kahit wala pang tulog, GO go go ako , syempre, basta  for the kids.. I couldn't say NO.. Hay.. I was overwhelmed and so happy to see children performing on stage. I coudn't believe their courage and candor in sharing their gifts. The mere gesture of preparing their number and stand on the stage to sing and dance is already a showcase of intelligence and gift. It is really vital for parents to identify the intelligences of their children not only in academic but also in other aspects. I was reminded of the 7 intellingences Dr. Howard Gardner explained in his "Multiple Intelligences" book (thanks to my dear friend who gave that book to me). Sometimes, people only gauge the intellingence through IQ test in which only Linguistic and Logical intellingences are mostly being measured. Well, thanks for opening our mind for the other intelligences, Dr. Howard!! I will not be discussing it here, better read his book and I bet, you'll learn a lot.. and you'll be excited to become a parent or teacher.

While watching every contestant, I make sure that I gave each, a fair applause... they deserve more than that.. From 4 to 6 years of age, all of them have their mickey in their hearts at first.. medyo kabado sa umpisa pero pag nawala!! hala!! bigay todo na, super to the maxxxx... performance. Well, I did enjoy every number... and in fact, sumakit tiyan ko kakatawa sa ibang performances.. wala ang pagod at puyat ko.. hay.. I really want to be a teacher someday... I really love kids and inspiring them.. iba ang feeling pag bata ang may idol sayo.  How I love to hear my nieces calling me, "tita, tita, tita dito ka samin matulog", or "tita miss na kita" same thing with Jj  may inaanak, "Ninang Ellen, I miss you, please come back tomorrow ha?."

Back to the Sayawitan, well for me, they are all winners. I couldn't just hold my breath to congratulate each of them. Pero syempre meron pa rin champion among the best... di ko makakalimutan yung mga batang yon.. sobrang nakakatuwa sila..

Ang saya saya..

Series 109

For the past few days I've been purely reading the books I've bought, some were unwrapped gifts and some were borrowed.

Life without TV is possible for me.. though there are some disadvantages.. knowing me... I like trivial matters more than current events. I wanted to be aware of what's happening around me but I just clicked the remote control off. NO TV until you hit your target Ellen. I like that, being challenged with my own set of rule... and my accomplice, Che-che, my younger sibling. People can see us head to head reading a book, at least our time is not being wasted in oversleeping and malling... Extra challenge last week is to finish 4 books in a week whether thick of thin... And the winner is of course MOI, that is because it is very possible without TV right?

And if I'm reading I should also be writing, right? Endless.. poems, ditties, short stories- so difficult to plot, honestly...., essays, post scripts. Then, I would stare in blank for a couple of minutes.... I love to stare without moving and winking.. I may looked silly but I love that... I like chin cupping... what's this I'm writing??? killing my time.. har har har..

Monster's Post Scripts

Your not as good looking as you see yourself, here's the mirror.
Can you just think who you are...
You are the biggest mistake in my life
Come on!! think, arfhh..
You stained my life!
You, goofy scam..
It's all your fault!!

"Moment"

Your voice rings through my head
Recognizing every single breath
I love to hear your stories that will never end
Drolling me in and out until words become unsaid

Your touch simply caresses my blood
It brings gladness in my coldest night
I feel your heat, your hugs so tight
I'm wishing it will never burn out

Your eyes, speaking to me so clear
Assuring me there is nothing to fear
In this madness, I will not shed a tear
For I know, I am your only dear

Your kiss, full of passion and desire
The sweetest taste, you melted with fire
Plunged deeply inside, making me blind
Bringing me to a place, soaring high
"I Should Have Told You"

F: I run my life, as if you're on my side
I think of you, as if you're my light
I give you my love, as if I'm your wife

    You gave me hopes
    So I gave mine
    You lighted me up
    And the blaze can't stop

M:You found me in a strange world
And you believed me like no one before
So I gave you my sweetest word
And let you feel I'm about to unfold

    You are my patience
    When the heat goes up
    You play like my wife
And treat me more than a husband

F&M:
I want to say this to you
Without a wink in my eyes
I want to let you know
    That this is the truth
And this time, I won't lie

M: Give me another chance, I know what I did            F: Yes! I know what I did too, and please listen to me first

M: Is this how I should be, I can't deny this to me       F: Oh! how will I say this to you, I know I have lost the chance
Myself is my enemy, my pride keeps me unfree          Myself is my enemy, my pride keeps me unfree
Why you? To you I've shared my sin                          I know that you'r not mine, you now have your life
And now life is harder to begin, this is my sin             with your wife and a son who has your eyes

M&F

Is this love that drives us here
A love that we should fear
     I'm not yours to claim
Our love was long long ago
And this isn't the tome for us to show
This forbidden love, I should've told you long long ago.

If I just lay here. Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Artemis Fowl

I am now into reading Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl which was introduced by my friend... thanks bud..good influence! bless you for your ardent and infectious interests on this!! I shall owe you big for my wannabes..... Nevermind headaches and enervated eyes... I'll never get blind anyway.

Book One

Prologue

How does one describe Artemis Fowl? Various psychiatrists have tried and failed. The main problem is Artemis's own intelligence. He bamboozles every test thrown at him. He has puzzled the greatest medical minds. And sent many of them gibbering to their own hospitals.
There is no doubt that Artemis is a child prodigy.   But why does someone of such brilliance dedicate himself to criminal activities?

This is a question that can be answered by only one person. And he delights in not talking.
Perhaps the best way to create an accurate picture of Artemis is to tell the by-now famous account of his first villainous adventure. I have put together this report from firsthand interviews with the victims, and as the tale unfolds, you will realize that this was not easy.

The story began several years ago at the dawn of the twenty-first century. Artemis Fowl had devised a plan to restore his family's fortune. A plan that could topple civilizations and plunge the planet into a cross-species war.

He was twelve years old at the time.

You may want to read the first chapters of his books and listen to its prologue for free http://www.artemisfowl.com

check out his site http://www.philipardagh.com/ I love this.. nice. very nice.. I love ardagh ardagh...

Another author has grabbed my attention, PHILIP ARDAGH. “Silly” that word that made me squint at some of the first pages of these books… more... fascinated and hypnotized... I am an avid now... and sily it may seem.

Editorial Reviews from Amazon.com

Philip Ardagh, the smart, silly author of the Eddie Dickens trilogy (and often called the UK's answer to Lemony Snicket), kicks off another smart, silly series with The Fall of Fergal.

Between an internal-dialogue prologue and an early in-story, readers will quickly realize that the plot of Fergal will probably prove secondary to Ardagh's free-wheeling self-referential style. But how can you argue when you're having this much fun? Even as the book begins with its ending, Ardagh's strategy works as brilliantly as ever--and even includes a semi-sensible plot: young Le Fay McNally has reached the Tap 'n' Type Young Typist of the Year Grand Finals, and she hopes to smuggle her older sister, twin brothers, and one younger brother into the luxurious Dell hotel to watch her compete. The poor, put-upon, ill-fed McNally kids reel at the poshness of the Dell, and comedy ensues as Le Fay first sneaks her siblings into the hotel, then begins meeting her competitors (including the hilariously illustrated and described Graham Large: "the hair--my God, the hair--that was most shocking of all. Thick, dark brown, and swept back into an enormous quiff, it was so stiff that it looked more like spun sugar....She'd never met such a sweet-smelling, softy-skinned, quiffy person in shorts before").

Between his knowing asides, Ardagh squeezes in a few other hilarious characters--including chief hotel detective Capt. Twinkle-Toes Tweedy (Retd.) and voluminously mustachioed ventriloquist and beat poet Hieronymus Peach--before the white-knuckle Tap 'n' Type finals and the book's climactic ending (which, if you'll remember, came at the book's beginning). Fans and soon-to-be fans of Ardagh will be glad to hear him confide that there's much, much more in store for the McNallys: "There are three books in this series, and something has to happen in the other two!"
